Asia Cup 2023 was played between August 30 and September 17 in a hybrid model in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. It was held in ODI format as a precursor to the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Team India under the leadership of Rohit Sharma defeated Sri Lanka in a one-sided final at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo to lift their record eighth title.
