Vande Mataram to Bharat Maata ki Jai - How Australian fans won Bengaluru hearts in World Cup 2023 Match vs Pakistan

Australia secured a magnificent win over Pakistan in the ICC World Cup 2023 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday. The Aussies lost two matches already in the World Cup and just managed one victory, hence their match against Pakistan was a crucial one for them.

And as they took on the Pakistan side in Bengaluru, the Aussie fans used their brain to get the Indian fans on their side. They knew the importance of this huge match, and thus always wanted the home team to cheer for them.

And to make the Indian spectators cheering for Australia, the Australian fans present at the Chinaswamy Stadium only had good things to say about India. Videos captured can reveal Australian fans resorting to cheering Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai at the stadium.

An Australian fan can be seen claiming Vande, while the other Indian fans are reverberating him back as Mataram, while another Australian fan was also seen cheering Bharat Mata Ki Jai amid their match against Pakistan in Bengaluru.

It was a fantastic spectacle at the Garden City and Australia were the better team of two. David Warner and Mitchell Marsh batted brilliantly, and then Adam Zampa spinned his way through the Pakistani batters as the five-time World Champions secured a pivotal victory.

The Aussie fans won the heart of the Bengaluru crowd and got the hosts behind them. There were Australia, Australia cheers across the ground and it was more like a home game feeling for the Aussies. People at the stadium also wished a Happy Birthday to Mitchell Marsh, who became only the 2nd player to score a World Cup hundred on birthday.

Aussies have now won consecutive matches after losing their first two in the tournament. Pat Cummins and his troops will be hoping to continue their momentum as they play Netherlands up next on Wednesday (October 25) in Delhi.
