Who Won the Toss Today, AUS vs BAN World Cup 2023 Match 43: Australia skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to field against Bangladesh in ICC World Cup 2023 Match 43 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune on Saturday (November 11).
This is the final league match for both teams in the ten-team showpiece event, which will culminate with the final on November 19. Australia and Bangladesh enter this game on the back of wins but they've had contrasting fates in this quadrennial extravaganza.

Australia - who secured a memorable win over Afghanistan in their previous game, thanks to a record double-hundred by Glenn Maxwell - are already in the semi-finals. While Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka in their last game played in Delhi, they became the first team to be eliminated from the competition.
While the Aussies will be looking to finish their league stage with yet another dominating win before they prepare for the semi-final clash against South Africa at Eden Gardens on November 16, Bangladesh - who are without their regular captain Shakib Al Hasan - are looking for a consolation win.
As for team news, Australia have made two changes from the side that won against Afghanistan with Steve Smith and Sean Abbott coming in for Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Starc, while Bangladesh included Nassum Ahmed in place of injured Shakib in their playing eleven.
Pat Cummins, who won the toss and opted to field, said: "We are gonna have a bowl. There might be some swing in the air because it is early morning. Another chance to play well."
The all-rounder added further, "We have got two changes. Maxwell and Starc have been rested to ensure they are good going into the semis. Smith and Sean Abbott are in. Seany getting his first game.
"In patches, we have done well. We still haven't played the complete game. We will like to focus on our own game. We are still on a high. Seeing the reactions all over the world."
Meanwhile, Bangladesh's acting captain, Najmul Hossain Shanto said: "We were looking to bat. Nasum is coming in. To be very honest, we will look to win this match. We will look to do it."
