Cheteshwar Pujara seems to have ended the teasing of Chennai Super Kings fans with his latest social media post.
The India batter took to social media on Sunday (April 14) and announced to spend the season with SupperKings, which put the CSK fans in a pickle. Many of the fans predicted that he would join CSK as a replacement for Devon Conway. Some also commented that the veteran batter is roped in as a replacement for Ajinkya Rahane.

MyKhel reported that Cheteshwar Pujara joining CSK was a hoax and the announcement was due to an unrelated matter. The player didn't take part in the IPL 2024 auction, which means CSK couldn't have signed him as a replacement.
And the latest post from the batter looks likely to have cleared the confusion. Pujara took to Instagram on Monday and posted a picture with his wife, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and actor Ranveer Singh. He had a caption written, "No one was harmed in this collab! We cool".
It was actually an advertisement for the popular food delivery app Zomato and the trio of Pujara, Ranveer and Samantha are part of their promotional video.
CSK, on the other hand, have continued their decent start to the IPL 2024 campaign with another win over Mumbai Indians on Sunday. With this, they are now currently 3rd in the IPL points table with 8 points in six matches.
