Ind-NZ series schedule; Gautam Gambhir returns to India Test squad
Gambhir took to his Twitter handle to reflect his excitement for India call-up after a gap of two years. The Delhi opener said he's feeling nervous and excited like a debutant ahead of the comeback match.
"Excitement of a debutant, certainty of experienced, nervousness of a novice...am feeling it all. Eden here I come loaded with ambitions," tweeted Gambhir.

Left-handed opening batsman Gautam Gambhir was on Tuesday (Sep 27) recalled into the Indian Test squad in place of the injured KL Rahul for the remaining two Tests against New Zealand.

The second Test, which starts at Kolkata's Eden Gardens on Friday (September 30), sees the return of Gambhir, who last played for India in the longer format in August 2014.
The 34-year-old Gambhir has so far played 56 Tests, scoring over 4,000 runs. He recently impressed in the Duleep Trophy, having compiled four back-to-back half centuries including 2 ninety plus scores.

However, it is still not sure if the left-handed batter will get a place into Playing XI for Shikhar Dhawan is also a top contender for the opening spot alongside Murali Vijay.
Earlier on Tuesday, Gambhir passed a fitness test at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
