New Delhi, July 14: In a terrible incident on a cricket field, two St Kitts and Nevis Patriots fielders Kieran Powell and JJ Smuts ran into each other in the deep during a Caribbean Premier League match.

The incindent occured during the T20 match between Patriots and Barbados Tridents. In the 19th over of Barbados innings, the two Patriots players went for a AB de Villiers' catch.

Both Powell and Smuts neither make a call nor saw each other coming for the ball and collided near the boundary ropes.

As per reports, an ambulance was called on the field to take injured Powell off.

Meanwhile, AB de Villiers was adjuged the Man of the Match for his yet another powerful display of batting. The South Africa skipper scored 82 off 54 deliveries.
