Johannesburg, Mar 26: Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Tuesday (March 26) unveiled the contracted squads for the Proteas Men and Women for the upcoming 2024/25 season, set to commence on May 1st.

Nandre Burger and Tony de Zorzi, both of whom play for Western Province, have received their inaugural national contracts for the Proteas Men, while Momentum Multiply Titans' fast bowler Gerald Coetzee, who was promoted to a full contract during the current season, retains his spot for the forthcoming season.

Additionally, Andile Phehlukwayo, the all-rounder from Hollywoodbets Dolphins, made his comeback to the contracted squad.

For the Proteas Women, the contracted squad has expanded from 15 to 16 players. Ayanda Hlubi from Hollywoodbets Dolphins and Eliz-Mari Marx from Fidelity Titans secure their maiden national contracts following impressive debut seasons with the Proteas Women.

Director of Cricket, Enoch Nkwe, expressed his satisfaction with the announced squads, emphasising the selection's focus on nurturing talent and recognising outstanding performances. He stressed the goal of assembling competitive teams capable of consistently challenging on the global stage.
