Kingston, Aug 2: As countdown for the Rio Olympics 2016 has begun, Team India cricketers Ravichandran Ashwin and Murali Vijay extended their best wishes to the Rio-bound Indian contingent.

BCCI posted the videos on its Twitter handle in which Ashwin and Vijay were seen greeting the Indian athletes.

Meanwhile, Indian athletes have started arriving at the Olympic Village and started preparing themselves for the sporting extravaganza, starting August 5.

207 nations are participating this time at the Rio Olympics 2017. A total of 119 athletes are representing India in 15 sports. This is India's biggest ever contingent for the mega event.
India is hoping it's best ever performance at Olympic this time as their are several contenders for medal.
