Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will look to do the double over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the space of five days when the two teams face off in match 39 of IPL 2024 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday (April 23).
LSG, who were on a two-match losing run, stopped the slide with a comprehensive 8-wicket win over the defending champions on Friday (April 19) at the BRSABV Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

The Lucknow-based side had bounced back from the opening game loss with three back to back victories thanks to the dominating display by new speed sensation Mayank Yadav in two matches.
But once the pacer was forced off the field after bowling one over in the victory against GT, KL Rahul's side suffered defeats to Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders in the absence of young Mayank.
Rahul & Co, however, responded with a convincing win over CSK last week despite playing without Mayank Yadav for the third match in a row. But to keep pushing for a playoff spot, LSG will need Mayank, who troubled batters, back as soon as possible.
Mayank Yadav Injury Update: The 21-year-old pacer has been out since LSG's win over GT on April 7 due to "soreness in lower abdominal area" and is on the road to recovery. So, he is likely to miss the CSK clash on Tuesday (April 23).
Mayank Yadav Return Date: LSG bowling coach Morne Morkel has stated that Mayank has remained in Lucknow and is scheduled to make a comeback against the Rajasthan Royals later in the week on Saturday (April 27).
"He stayed behind in Lucknow just to give him that extra two-three days without travelling," Morkel told reporters in Chennai on the eve of LSG's meeting with CSK.
"He is with (assistant coach) Lance Klusener and the rest of the guys in Lucknow, training and getting ready. So I think, anything from the next game onwards, we'll look to bring him back in," he added.
Morkel also revealed that Mayank has started bowling recently, showing promising progress and added the expectation is huge for him after hitting the 150 kmph mark consistently.
"He's coming along very nicely. We're very happy with his progression. He started bowling three-four days ago, so for him it's just a matter now, of course of him, the expectation is greater, (given) that he bowls every ball at 150 kmph.
"It's just to really get his body and his mind in that sort of state where he's confident, running and bowling all four overs at a tight pace."
