CSK vs SRH: Ravindra Jadeja is yet to make headlines in the IPL 2024 and the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday, April 5, can give him that opportunity.
Jadeja, already an IPL and CSK legend, helped his team lift their fifth IPL trophy by smashing a last-ball boundary against Gujarat Titans (GT) in IPL 2023 final. Even though Ruturaj Gaikwad has been announced as MS Dhoni's successor, Jadeja's stature in the team is second to none.

He was costly with the ball in his last outing against Delhi as he leaked 43 runs in four overs for just one wicket. With the bat, the southpaw scored 21 unbeaten runs off 17 balls as CSK lost by 20 runs.
In the IPL 2024 opener against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Jadeja gave away just 21 runs in four overs, and scored 25 not out runs off 17 balls. In the second home match against GT, he leaked 15 runs in two overs and scored seven runs.

Ravindra Jadeja has performed decently against SRH, however he has struggled against the 2016 champions away from home. The 35-year-old would be aiming for the best outing of his life against Hyderabad on Friday.
