New Delhi, June 12: Days after an excited Germany football team supporter Virat Kohli sent his best wishes to his favourite side ahead of Euro 2016, India's Test skipper received a reply from German midfielder Toni Kroos.

Virat Kohli's love for football isn't hidden from anyone and the star Indian cricketer pledged his support for Die Mannschaft. (Which team is 'excited' Kohli supporting?)

Earlier, Kohli tweeted his image in German football team's jersey.

"Excited for #Euro16 I'm all in with Die Mannschaft for the Euros! Which team are you supporting? #FirstNeverFollows," Kohli wrote on his Twitter handle.

Kroos replied to Kohli on Twitter and even promised to send the cricketer a gift.

"Beautiful shirt and great number choice @imVkohli ! Awesome! Going to send you a gift😀 #FirstNeverFollows," the German midfielder tweeted.

Kohli later thanked the Real Madrid star, who wasn't following Virat until now, for the gift and wished him luck for his Euro campaign.

Interestingly, Kohli and Kroos both have sponsorship deals with Adidas and are part of Adidas' latest ad campaign which goes by the hashtag #FirstNeverFollows.

Though this friendly gesture over Twitter might be a part of the ad campaign but the spirit of the both the games is the real winner amid all this.
