Fastest Hundred in One Day Cricket: South Australia's Jake Fraser-McGurk on Sunday (October 9) broke the record for the fastest century in List-A cricket, previously held by South Africa great AB de Villiers.
Just 24 hours after De Villiers' compatriot Aiden Markram had scored the fastest century in ODI World Cuo, Jake smashed the fastest hundred in white-ball cricket during his side's Marsh One Day Cup match against Tasmania at Karen Rolton Oval in Adelaide.

Jake achieved the feat by smashing a 29-ball hundred, surpassing De Villiers' 31-ball century against West Indies in 2015. His knock of 125 from 38 balls, included 10 fours and 13 sixes.
De Villiers still owns the record for fastest century in ODIs, but in the 30-50 over white-ball cricket, which consists of both international and domestic level games, Jake now holds the record. Here is a look at the top 10 players with fastest hundred in One Day format:

Despite Fraser-McGurk's heroics, his knock that lasted only till 11.4 overs and his team South Australia lost the Marsh One-Day Cup match against Tasmania by 37 runs in Adelaide.
After Tasmania smashed 435/9 in their 50 overs with skipper Jordan Silk (116), Caleb Jewell (90) and Macalister Wright (51) making notable contributions, Jake opened up the innings for his side in reply, but his side were bowled out for 398 in 46.4 overs.
