GT vs CSK IPL 2024 Playing 11: Gujarat Titans will host Chennai Super Kings in a do-or-die IPL 2024 encounter at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday (May 10).
With just 8 points in 11 matches, the Titans are currently at the bottom of the table and a defeat would mean curtains for them. The Super Kings are currently 4th with 12 points in 11 matches and would be aiming for a victory to bolster their playoff hopes.

It has been a tough last two weeks for the Titans as they have lost three consecutive matches, which included a double defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who were occupying the bottom spot before them. For CSK, the win over Punjab Kings in Dharamshala was a pivotal one and they will have to replicate the same to solidify their top-four status.
Gujarat Titans will have to make tough calls on their selection. Wriddhiman Saha has been below par with the bat all season and GT need to bring in someone else along with Shubman Gill at the top. Sai Kishore can also make a return as Manav Suthar may be dropped to the bench. In terms of foreigners, Joshua Little may be replaced by someone like Matthew Wade.
CSK will be missing Mustafizur Rahman and Matheesha Pathirana - two of their premium pacers this season. Mitchell Santner played the last match, and he is likely to keep his place. Simarjeet Singh is also poised to come on as an Impact player if the Super Kings bat first. It was revealed that MS Dhoni is playing despite the doctor advising him to rest and the veteran may play on Friday in such a crucial match. But Richard Gleeson can be dropped, and Rachin Ravindra can resurface again for the Super Kings. Rahane may get demoted as someone like Sameer Rizvi can start the match.
GT Probable XI: Matthew Wade (wk), Shubman Gill (c), Sai Sudharsan, David Miller, Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Sai Kishore, Noor Ahmad, Mohit Sharma, Sandeep Warrier
GT Impact Player: Abhinav Manohar
CSK Probable XI: Rachin Ravindra, Ruturaj Gaikwad (c), Daryl Mitchell, Shivam Dube, Moeen Ali, Sameer Rizvi, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni (wk), Mitchell Santner, Shardul Thakur, Tushar Deshpande
CSK Impact Player: Simarjeet Singh
Although CSK are better placed and Gujarat seem to be in a downward spiral, Gujarat Titans are predicted to turn the tide and win the match.
