With just 8 points in 11 matches, the Titans are currently at the bottom of the table and a defeat would mean curtains for them. The Super Kings are currently 4th with 12 points in 11 matches and would be aiming for a victory to bolster their playoff hopes.

It has been a tough last two weeks for the Titans as they have lost three consecutive matches, which included a double defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who were occupying the bottom spot before them.
