Harbhajan Singh becomes father, wife Geeta Basra gives birth to a baby girl

New Delhi, July 28: Veteran India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh became father on Wednesday (July 27), after his wife Geeta Basra was blessed with a baby girl at a hospital in London.

The report of Geeta giving birth to a child has been confirmed by Harbhajan's mother to a Hindi news daily.

However, neither Harbhajan nor Geeta have revealed anything on their social media accounts.

Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag congratulated the couple for becoming parents.

According to the daily, mother and newly born are perfectly fit. Harbhajan is in London to be with his wife and his first born child.

Bhajji married Basra on 29, October 2015 at his native place in Jalandhar.

Earlier in June, Geeta, the soon-to-be mother had a lavish baby shower.

Basra flaunted her baby bump for the first time ever since her pregnancy news broke in media at her recently held lavish baby shower event .
