Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf on Thursday (July 6) tied the knot with Muzna Masood Malik in an intimate ceremony in Islamabad. The couple in December last year, had already had a Nikkah ceremony.
They had a traditional wedding, as per Pakistani customs, in the presence of family members and close friends. The newly-wedded couple evaded much media attention this time around.

The wedding festivities of Haris Rauf and Muzna Masood Malik commenced with the qawwali night. The 29-year-old right-arm pacer took the nuptial vows with his Shareek-e-Hayat. The cricketer looked radiant in the black sherwani and a red turban.
Like every groom, Rauf also had a bustling garland around his neck. Muzna, meanwhile, looked absolutely stunning in the traditional all-red lehenga - the traditional and was bedecked with gold jewellery.
The videos of the vibrant baraat and wedding ceremony of the newlyweds are doing the rounds on social media. The videos also showcased the Pakistani wedding traditions.
The visuals which are doing the rounds on social media are offering glimpses of how the wedding procession took place. The video of Muzna bidding farewell to her family, which is the custom, is also going viral.
The cricketer and his wife were in the news in December last year for their wedding. The images of their dreamy wedding went viral over social media and the cricketer also announced starting a new innings in his life. So why this second wedding ceremony?
In December the couple had a Nikkah Ceremony, as per the Islamic law. In Islam, nikkah is a contract between two people (man and woman), where both the groom and the bride are to consent to the marriage of their own free will in the presence of their family members and close ones. The Nikkah happens in the presence of a cleric.
However, in July 2023, the couple is getting married as per the Pakistani customs, which is being practised by their tribe. This wedding is similar to Indian weddings, sans religious rituals, which has more to do with the celebrations and parties.
Haris Rauf's national team teammates couldn't attend the wedding as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) stopped Pakistan cricketers. As per the PCB spokesperson, the board didn't permit the players from traveling to Islamabad from Karachi due to unfavourable weather conditions and the unavailability of flights.
Some Pakistani players had planned to travel to Islamabad and return to to Karachi on Saturday afternoon but the unavailability of flights dampened their plans. However, they extended their wishes to their teammate via video message.
Muzna Masood Malik has modelled for several clothing brands in Pakistan. She has studied with Rauf together and the two have been in love for quite some time.
