The dream of the Indian cricket team to win the World Cup trophy shattered on March 26 at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), when the team scored 233 runs against the target of scoring 329 runs.
Now, it will be Australia versus New Zealand in the ICC World Cup 2015 final match on Sunday, March 29 in Melbourne.
The cricket mania with Indians is well-known world-wide, but at the same time, there are many Indian women who are simply not interested in watching the much-loved Cricket, besides only praising 'cute' cricketers!
However, there are many Indian women who religiously follow Cricket as seriously as men. They scream over sixes and cry over a catch.
Cricket is like an alien sport for some international celebrities too. Last year in July, Russia's Tennis grand slam champion Maria Sharapova revealed that she did not know who Sachin Tendulkar was.
The Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama also shocked many when he said he wasn't aware of Sachin Tendulkar, at the HPCA stadium in Shimla in 2011.
On Thursday, March 26, academic-activist Madhu Kishwar tweeted, "For someone who doesn't follow cricket, one feels so out of sync with "the nation".
Here are some of the tweets, depicting women's least interest in 'gentlemen's game' Cricket:

@sagarikaghose Blatant misogyny to say women don't watch or understand cricket.— Parth Kulkarni (@parthya) March 26, 2015
Dear women on my twitter TL, if you don't like the cricket yet then you are doing it wrong. This is a warning: https://t.co/1HnCMLlgyY— Inadvertent Indian (@sushants_in) March 24, 2015
Always wondered how so many women get so excitedly worked up with the swaggering machismo of male sport...leaves me cold, I must confess..— Sagarika Ghose (@sagarikaghose) February 15, 2015
Apparently the reason so many women like cricket is because you can watch it without knowing what's going on. Thanks @radiosportnz— genohalloran (@genohalloran) March 26, 2015
But, unlike others, if you are a cricket enthusiast woman, then do feel proud about your passion!
