ICC World Cup 2023 match no. 32 saw South Africa thrashing New Zealand at the MCA Stadium in Pune on Wednesday (November 1) as some of the best players in the format were seen in action in a high-stakes contest.

Protea batters Quinton de Kock and Rassie van der Dussen slammed hundreds in the game against the Blackcaps and put on a display of their big-hitting skills. Their teammate David Miller - who is also known for his swashbuckling hits - also hammered some towering maximums. The first innings of the match saw South Africa posting a mammoth 357 for the loss of four wickets after being put in to bat first as Quinton de Kock (114) and Rassie van der Dussen (133) posted runs. Tim Southee (2/77) and Trent Boult (1/49) were among the wickets for New Zealand. New Zealand batters faltered in the run chase and lost the match by a big margin of 190 runs.
