Lauderhill (US), Aug 12: Talented India batters Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal showcased their exceptional batting skills to help Team India register a comfortable nine-wicket win over West Indies in the fourth T20 International on Saturday (August 12).
With three overs to spare, India successfully chased down a target of 179 and levelled the five-match series 2-2. The final match will be played tomorrow and Hardik Pandya-led side will aim to become the first team to win a five-match series after trailing 0-2.

India's openers, Gill (77 off 47 balls) and Jaiswal (84 not out off 51 balls) delivered an outstanding performance from the very first ball. They formed a formidable partnership of 165 runs, which is the highest opening stand for India in this series so far.
Despite concerns about the pitch slowing down in the second half, it remained consistent throughout the match after being refurbished with Mississippi soil. Gill and Jaiswal took full advantage of the favourable conditions, scoring 66 runs in the Power Play segment with eight fours and three sixes.
All three sixes were hit by Gill himself. Gill reached his fifty by cutting Rovman Powell past point for two runs while Jaiswal celebrated his milestone with a boundary through a wide square leg.
Their partnership of 165 equalled Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul's record for India's second-highest opening alliance in T20Is against Sri Lanka in Indore back in 2017. This remarkable performance could mark a new era for younger players taking over in the shortest format.
Jaiswal - who made his international debut in the series - slammed his maiden T20I fifty and was awarded the player of the match for his knock. His innings was laced with 11 fours and three sixes and he scored at a strike rate of 164.71.
Speaking about his performance in the game, Jaiswal said, "It's not easy, I am happy to go out there and express myself. I would like to thank the support staff and Hardik bhai, they've shown faith.
"That shows so much impact on my mind. I try to play how the team needs and how I can express myself towards the plan. I try to score quickly, how many shots I can play in the powerplay and put my team in a nice shape."
Earlier, India's bowlers put up an excellent effort to restrict West Indies to a below-par total on a pitch that offered good bounce but little turn. Despite choosing to bat first, West Indies failed to capitalize on their opportunity apart from Shimron Hetmyer's knock of 61 and Shai Hope's contribution of 45.
The hosts struggled to form any substantial partnerships except for a fifth-wicket stand of 49 between Hope and Hetmyer and an eighth-wicket partnership of 47 between Hetmyer and Odean Smith. Indian bowlers, led by Arshdeep Singh (3/38) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/26), maintained a tight grip on the West Indies batting lineup.
Although Hetmyer provided some late fireworks, India's dominant display with the bat ensured that their total was never enough to challenge them.
