The Asia Cup 2023 Super Four clash between India and Pakistan has been rescheduled to the Reserve Day today (Monday, September 11).
A relentless rain on Sunday (September 10) curtailed the chances of the match being played as the match halted at about midway through the first inning. As the two teams prepare for the battle today, the weather can play another big part in the proceedings.

The Colombo Weather Forecast on Monday is also a threat to the game. A high chance of rain is being predicted and despite an earlier clear sky, the rain is expected to arrive later in the day, which can take a toll on the match.
The match will start from India at 147 for 2 in 24.1 overs, and that will provide some leeway as we need a maximum of 75.5 overs today.
But what will happen if rain plays spoilsport again?
If it rains in Colombo today, the match may be halted. With the proper 50 overs match in mind, an uninterrupted day means we will have a full game in our hands. Any minor rain involvements can shorten the game to a reduced overs affair.
But if the rain completely washes out the game, then the two teams will have to split the points and get a point each. In that case, Pakistan will have 3 points after two Super Four matches. India, on the other hand, will have 1 point after playing a single game.
India will have their next match of the Super Four against Sri Lanka immediately as they take on the home team tomorrow (Tuesday, September 12).
