Having won the opening game over old rivals Pakistan in a dominant fashion, the Indian Women's Cricket Team will take on West Indies in their second group match in ICC T20 Women's World Cup 2023 in Cape Town.

The two teams - who played a tri-series in South Africa - to prepare for the marquee event will lock horns with each other on Wednesday (February 15).

The impressive batting from their captain and opener Hayley Mathews - who scored 42 runs in 32 balls with the help of eight boundaries - was the biggest positive for the Caribbean side against England.
