Chennai, May 8: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will set a world record in Twenty20 cricket when they face Mumbai Indians (MI) on their home ground in the Indian Premier League 2015 (IPL 8) tonight.

The MS Dhoni-led CSK will become the first team in T20 history to play 150 matches. Friday night's clash against MI is the milestone game.
And it is fitting for the "Men in Yellow" to reach the landmark on their home turf - MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Currently the table-toppers in IPL 2015, CSK will be aiming to achieve a victory and confirm their spot in the playoffs.
CSK have so far played 149 T20 games - in IPL and Champions League T20 (CLT20). CSK, along with other franchises came into existence in 2008 when IPL was launched.
The next best in T20 world cricket is England's Somerset, who have played 144 matches. For India, the second best after CSK are MI with 142 games.
CSK and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are the only two sides to have won IPL title twice. CSK won in 2010 and 2011. They also won the CLT20 trophy twice in 2010 and 2014.
