IPL 2017: Full list of celebrities performing in 8 opening ceremonies and venues

New Delhi, April 5: As the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to kick-off in its tenth edition from Wednesday (April 5), fans are also anxiously waiting for the star-studded opening ceremony of the extravaganza.

The opening match of season 10 will be played between defending champions Sunrisers Hyderbad and runners-up Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad.

As the cash-rich league, which has been a phenomenal success so far, has entered it's tenth year, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to make it special for their fans.

The opening ceremonies of IPL have always been the talking points of the tournament apart from the quality of cricket in the tournament.

The BCCI has, this time, decided to organise an opening ceremony on eight venues, which will host their first IPL match of the tournament.

Film stars, singers and dancers will entertain the audiences with their performances on all the eight venues.

Who all are going to perform and where?

IPL Chairman Rajeev Shukla was quoted by media reports as saying, "The various segments of the (IPL opening) ceremony will be in our culture, the culture and tradition of the host cities as also highlighting the high points from the last nine editions of the tournament. We will also have performances from Bollywood stars, the spirit of cricket signing, etc."

Bollywood celebrities like Amy Jackson, Shraddha Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Tiger Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh among others are set to perform at the opening ceremonies. There are several celebrities going to be added to this list in next few days to come.

Here's the list of the venues along with the celebrities:

April 5: Hyderabad (SRH Vs RCB): Amy Jackson to perform at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

Time: 7 PM

April 6: Pune (RPS Vs MI): Bollywood and Marathi actor Riteish Deshmukh to perform at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

Time: 7 PM

April 7: Rajkot (GL Vs KKR): Tiger Shroff will perform at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Not to forget Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who is the proud co-owner of KKR will also be present to cheer up his team.

April 8: Indore (KXIP Vs RPS): No confirmation yet.

Time: 3 PM

April 8: Bangalore (RCB Vs DD): No confirmation yet at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Time: 7 PM

April 9: Mumbai (MI Vs KKR): No confirmation yet for the Wankhede Stadium.

Time: 7 PM

April 13: Kolkata (KKR Vs KXIP): Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor and singer Monali Thakur will perform at Eden Gardens.

Time: 7 PM

April 15: New Delhi: (DD Vs KXIP): Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra will perform at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium.

Time: 7 PM

In India, Sony Pictures Network (SPN) will telecast all matches live, starting with the inaugural contest on April 5. The tournament ends on May 21.
