Kolkata, April 28: Kolkata Knight Riders' recorded a massive 7 wicket win over Delhi Daredevils in their league game against Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League on Friday (April 28).

Kolkata captain Gautam Gambhir (71*) and Robin Uthappa (59) batted exceptionally well as they put up second consecutive century stand and helped their side register another convincing win while chasing.

After being invited to bat first, Delhi Daredevils scored just 160 for the loss of 6 wickets which Kolkata chased down quite comfortably in 16.2 overs.

Gambhir remained unbeaten on 71 off 52 deliveries, his fourth IPL fifty, joining hands with Uthappa (59; 33b 5x4 4x6) for a match-winning 108-run stand for the second wicket to script the two-time champions' fourth successive victory. Delhi, on the other hand, were condemned to their fourth loss on the trot.

Pacer Nathan Coulter-Nile returned with three wickets to negate opener Sanju Samson's charge and ensured a gettable total for his side at Eden Gardens.

Earlier, an upbeat KKR captain Gautam Gambhir won the toss and elected to chase against a struggling Delhi Daredevils side. Kolkata are sitting comfortably at the top of the points table.
