Bengaluru, January 30: Defending champions Mumbai Indians will start the Indian Premier League 2018 as one of the favourites again.
The team will be captained by Rohit Sharma, who was retained along with fellow India internationals Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah.

Pandya's elder brother Krunal, who bowls left-arm orthodox spin, will be a regular Starting XI star for Mumbai Indians owned by Reliance Industries (Nita Ambani).
Ambani also bid for top foreign T20 stars like Kieron Pollard of West Indies and Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh. Local flavour is also guaranteed in Siddhesh Lad, Aditya Tare and Surya Kumar Yadav.
Mumbai Indians will play the first game of IPL 2018, against returning Chennai Super Kings, on April 7 at the Wankhede Stadium.
