Mumbai, October 7: As the second leg of the ongoing IPL 2021 nears the playoffs, organisers, BCCI, have surprised all with their decision to host the last two matches of the marquee tournament concurrently.

The last two games on the final day of the league stage i.e. October 8 will be held between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals, and Mumbai Indians will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad.

It will be the first occasion when Star Sports Network will broadcast the games simultaneously. Since the tournament is at a crucial stage, the fans will get a double dose of excitement and edge-of-the-seat action.

By the end of the day, the tournament will get a clear picture of the top four contenders who will compete at the playoffs for the coveted title.

Mumbai Indians will look to guarantee themselves a playoff spot as they face Sunrisers Hyderabad in Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile, both qualified teams, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals face-off in Dubai for a thrilling match teasing fans on what they can expect during playoffs.
