Dinesh Karthik has been hailed by several ex-players and fans after his scintillating innings to take Royal Challengers Bengaluru home against Punjab Kings in the IPL 2024 on Monday (March 25).

Karthik played a magnificent knock of 28 in just 10 balls to win RCB a crucial game at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The veteran hit 3 fours and 2 sixes to take his team over the line.

Karthik stitched an unbeaten partnership of 48 runs in just 18 balls along with Mahipal Lomror. He hit Harshal Patel for a six and a boundary in the 19th over, and did the same to Arshdeep Singh in the last over as Bengaluru won with four balls to spare.

The 38-year-old announced that this will be his final IPL season and it has been an amazing start so far. He scored a decent 38 off 26 balls against CSK in the first match, and now an unbeaten 28 will feel sweet as it came in winning cause.
