IPL 2024: How T20 World Cup-Bound Australian Players Performed in The Tournament?

The seventeenth edition of the Indian Premier League - IPL 2024 came to a close on Sunday (May 26) with Kolkata Knight Riders beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the title clash at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

As the IPL comes to a halt, the focus now shifts to the T20 World Cup 2024, where several players from the IPL 2024 will compete for their respective nations, including India, Australia, South Africa, England and New Zealand.

T20 World Cup-Bound Australian Players Performance in IPL 2024

The IPL 2024 featured a number of regulars from the Australian Men's T20 World Cup squad. A total of 12 players including one travelling reserve were part of IPL with all of them featuring in at least one game during their stint in India over the last two months.

While Travis Head and Jake Fraser-McGurk set the tournament on fire with their explosive batting, others like David Warner and Mitchell Marsh had an indifferent run for the majority of the tournament.

Mitchell Starc struggled for consistency early on before producing back-to-back Player of the Match performances in his last two appearances in Kolkata Knight Riders' title-winning run.

Cameron Green, Marcus Stoinis and Pat Cummins also had a mixed run, while, star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell had a season to forget this year. Here is a look at the Australian players performance in the bygone IPL 2024:
