Royal Challengers Bengaluru became the 2nd team to play 250 IPL matches on Thursday (April 25) when they played Sunrisers Hyderabad.
RCB followed Mumbai Indians who earlier achieved the milestone and currently lead the way as the team with the most IPL matches under their belt. The Paltans have so far played 255 IPL matches and will finish on 261 IPL matches at the end of this season's group stages.

As RCB became the latest team to join the 250 club, two more teams are lined up to make it to the same group this season.
Five-time champions Chennai Super Kings is a massive IPL team but surprisingly they are not going to make it to 250 matches this season. CSK are yet to play 250 IPL Matches and will have to wait till next year to achieve that.
Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders are the two teams who will also play their 250th IPL match this season.

DC will be the 3rd team in the IPL history to play 250 matches as the milestone fixture will come as they take on Rajasthan Royals on May 7. For KKR, the 250th match will be against Gujarat Titans on May 13.
Punjab Kings have so far played 240 matches and the maximum number of matches they can play this season is 9. Hence, if they reach the Final this year, the first match of next year will be Punjab's 250th IPL match.
