IPL 2024: Indian Premier League is synonymous to sixes. The batting-friendly wickets in India gives a major edge to the batters in a format which already favours them. Just the number of sixes doesn't matter, the distance of it carries the same weight.
The ongoing season of the IPL 2024 has already seen batters hit as many as 487 sixes in 29 matches. Notably, 622 sixes were hit in the inaugural IPL 2008. More than 800 sixes in a season, have been hit only thrice. The IPL 2023 holds the record for most (1124) sixes hit in a season.

Delhi Capitals (DC) batters have contributed 55 of the 487 sixes hit this season. Tristan Stubbs has smashed 15 sixes, and is followed by captain Rishabh Pant, who has chipped in with 11 sixes from six outings. Veteran opener David Warner has also sent the ball flying over the boundary rope ten times.
Stubbs has also hit the longest six for Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2024. Stubbs' 101 metres six is followed by Abishek Porel's 99 metres six. David Warner's 89 metre six is fourth on the list.
