Chennai Super Kings will miss Mustafizur Rahman in the next two IPL 2024 matches as the pacer has returned to Bangladesh.
CSK are set to play against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 5 and the Bangladeshi player will certainly miss the match. Chennai's next match is against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 8, and the pacer is doubtful for that clash as well.

CSK will not have Mustafizur potentially for the next two matches as the pacer has gone to Bangladesh to process his USA visa for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The tournament starts on June 3 in the Caribbean and USA and the pacer is in his country to get his visa approval for participation. He is likely to come back on any day between April 7 to 9 in India.
"Mustafizur arrived last night from the IPL for US visa purposes for the upcoming T20 World Cup. He will be giving his fingerprint at the US Embassy tomorrow (April 4) and later will travel back to India to join Chennai," BCB cricket operation chairman Jalal Yunus was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz on Wednesday.
Mustafizur is also expected to play till the end of April for CSK as the pacer is expected to be part of the Bangladesh team for their five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe.
The absence of the bowler can be a telling blow for Ruturaj Gaikwad as the Bangladeshi speedster has been a pivotal part so far. He has picked up 7 wickets in three matches and currently occupies the Purple Cap, which is given to the highest wicket-taker of the IPL in a season.
CSK started off with two victories but their streak was halted in Vizag at the hands of Delhi Capitals. The defending champions will be hoping to get back to winning ways as the SRH clash comes up on Friday.
