Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will hope for a boost in terms of injury news as they look to seal a hattrick of wins and avenge the reverse fixture loss when they host Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024 match 44 at the BRSABV Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday (April 27).
LSG, who sealed back-to-back wins over defending champions, will be keen on having speed sensation Mayank Yadav back in their line up as they aim to strengthen their chances of a playoff spot in IPL 2024.

The speedster Mayank has not featured for LSG since April 7 after he was forced to leave the field during the team's victory over Gujarat Titans due to a lower abdominal issue as revealed by the franchise.
The 21-year-old helped LSG turnaround their opening game loss to RR with two successive man of the match performances against Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The two games also saw him bowl the fastest delivery of the ongoing season at 156.7kmph.
Mayank also bowled one over against GT before the leaving the field and missing four games as a result of the injury. However, there has been some good news coming out of the LSG camp since last week.
Ahead of the CSK return match, fast bowling coach Morne Morkel had revealed that the youngster from Delhi had been bowling in the nets and also hinted that he could return for the home game against RR on April 27. So, will Mayank return tonight?
Mayank Yadav injury update: There is a very good chance that the latest speed sensation could be available for selection tonight as LSG assistant coach Sridharan Sriram gave Mayank Yadav fitness update.
Sriram said that Mayank Yadav has been bowling in the nets ahead of the LSG vs RR match, and hinted that he is pretty close to making a return, but also added to "keep fingers crossed".
"He's bowling today in the nets," Sriram said on the eve of LSG's match against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday (April 27). "So we'll find out how he pulls up after today, he's pretty close, so ya hopefully, fingers crossed."
