In his column for Times of India, Kallis wrote that the injury does not look very good and the player needs rest to recover. He may miss out on playing the rest of the tournament. [Lynn in doubt for rest of IPL]

The exact lines from Kallis' column are: "We are awaiting the results of the scans to Chris Lynn's shoulder which he dislocated on the field. It is a notoriously difficult area of the body to heal, so these are nervous times.
"He will undoubtedly need a substantial period of rest, and may even miss the rest of the tournament, which would be desperately disappointing for him and our fans after seeing what he is capable of doing during the first two games."
Chris Lynn got injured during KKR's match against Mumbai Indians on Sunday (April 9). He attempted to take a catch of MI's Jos Buttler. Unfortunately, he fell badly on the ground in the process and hurt his left shoulder.
The Australian already had an injury on that shoulder and that knock further aggravated the injury.
After the match, he had tweeted: "Dear Cricket Gods, did I do something wrong?"
It clearly showed his frustration and indicated that he may miss out on playing again in this tournament.
Chris Lynn's absence will be a huge blow to the Kolkata side. The batsman became a sensation among the fan after his power packed performance in the first match against Gujarat Lions.
He had scored an unbeaten 93 to guide his team to 10-wicket win in Rajkot. He is also the orange cap holder in IPL 2017 at the moment with 125 runs.
