IPL 2025: How did KKR's Retained Players perform in IPL 2024?

Sunil Narine

Sunil Narine remains a crucial part of the team. Since joining KKR in 2012, Narine has been instrumental in their success, contributing significantly to their three IPL titles. In IPL 2024, Narine scored 488 runs with the bat at a strike rate of 180 and also picked up 17 wickets.

Rinku Singh

Rinku Singh has become a top talent at KKR. Despite a modest performance in IPL 2024, his previous outstanding displays have earned him a spot on the team. The southpaw scored 168 runs last season with an average of 18.67 and a strike rate of 148. Apart, from his batting, Rinku is a live wire on the field and the Indian player played a crucial part in that department as well.

Andre Russell

Andre Russell has continued to be a part of the KKR squad. The West Indies all-rounder scored 222 runs with the bat and picked up 19 wickets last season, often bowling crucial overs and delivering for them. Although the 36-year-old's stay at KKR was under doubt, Russell continues to be part of the KKR nucleus in IPL 2025 and beyond.

Varun Chakravarthy

Varun Chakravarthy is another player who has been retained by KKR. The Indian mystery spinner was excellent last season for the Champions, as he picked up 21 wickets. He took three 3-fers in the season, with the best figures of 3 for 16 against Delhi Capitals. Chakravarthy's plaudits for KKR earned him a return in the Indian T20 team as well.

Harshit Rana

Harshit Rana completes the list of retained players for KKR. The Delhi pacer had an impressive season with the Knight Riders in IPL 2024 and will continue with the franchise as an uncapped player. Harshit picked up 19 wickets for KKR in IPL 2024. He was excellent at death overs for the Knight Riders, which came in the very first match against SRH.

Ramandeep Singh

Ramandeep Singh played a few crucial knocks at the end for Knight Riders last season. He came in down the order and smacked across the park in the last overs. The 26-year-old scored 125 runs at a strike rate of 201, hitting 12 sixes and 5 fours in the process. After his excellent outing for India A in the Emerging Asia Cup, Ramandeep will be ecstatic with a massive pay rise and a continuous stint with the Knight Riders.
