Saachi even called Delhi Police but didn't get any support from the cops. She took to her Instagram handle to narrate the terrifying incident and even revealed the insensitive remark from the cops. Who is Nitish Rana's wife Saachi Marwah Rana?

In her social media post, Saachi revealed that the cops asked her to let the matter go as she had reached home safely. She was asked by the cop - at the other end of the call - to note the vehicle registration number and reach out to them if the incident happens in the future.

Sharing the images of the two miscreants - who chased her car - Saachi narrated her ordeal through her Instagram story. She wrote, "Just a casual day in Delhi, on my way back home from work! These guys randomly started hitting my car!

"Just no reason, stalked and chased and the police told me on the phone when I complained, 'So now that you've reached home safe, let it go! Next time, number note kar lena' (note the number next time), aye aye captain, next time, I'll take their phone numbers also!"

Saachi Marwah - who hails from Delhi - is an interior designer by profession and she's the niece of Bollywood actor Govinda. She was married to the Delhi cricketer in 2019.

While there is no statement from Nitish Rana's side so far on this development. The left-handed batter from Delhi - who was appointed the acting skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) - has been receiving a lot of praise for the way he's leading the franchise in the ongoing tournament.

KKR are sitting at the eighth position in the points table with four wins in 10 games in the IPL 2023 season. Rana hasn't fired with the bat but he has led KKR quite well in the tournament.
