Mohammed Shami's wife accuses him of cheating on her, vows to drag India pacer into court

New Delhi, March 7: India pacer Mohammad Shami has landed into fresh controversy after his wife Hasin Jahan accused him of having multiple extra-marital affairs. In a startling revelation, Jahan also alleged that the Bengal pacer and his family subjected her to mental and physical torture. She has now threatened to drag him in court.

Shami rebuffs wife's allegations

Jahan took to her Facebook account on Tuesday (March 6) where she shared Shami's images with some women, whom she termed as the cricketers' girlfriends.

She went on revealing the names and mobile numbers of several girls, who according to her were chatting with her cricketer husband and sharing their pictures with him. She even shared the screenshots of some intimate chats on the mobile phone, which she alleged occurred between Shami and those girls.

Later in the day, Jahan claimed that the cricketer should publically accept his folly and apologise to her for she is not going to divorce him.

Jahan was quoted by an ANI report as saying, "I've done everything he wanted me to do. He has tortured me and hasn't treated me like his wife. He's a big flirt. I'm not going to divorce him till my last breath. I've all the evidence and will soon drag him to the court."

Earlier while talking to ABP News, Jahan alleged that she found the 27-year-old cricketer's phone along with some male contraceptives hidden in his BMW car.

"Whatever I have posted is just the tip of the iceberg. Shami's acts are far more heinous. I couldn't finish reading his chats for an entire night. He has relationships with multiple women in India as well as abroad," she told the private news channel.

"If I'm not wrong, he was gifted that phone by Delhi Daredevils in 2014. Though, he kept on denying it," said Jahan.

Jahan earlier told that she was contemplating to take legal actions against her husband and claimed that Shami and his family members were torturing her for a period of more than two years with attempts of trying to kill her.

"Everyone in their family used to torture me. His mother and brother used to abuse me. The tortures continued till 2-3 am in the morning. They even wanted to kill me," claimed Jahan.

Hasin Jahan shared images of a girl on her facebook account. According to her these girls were chatting with Shami. She even shared the screenshots of the chats.

Hasin Jahan shared the images of Shami with another woman and alleged she was his girl friend.

In the news report Jahan has also alleged that the cricketer used to beat her up. She alleged that her husband tortured her after returning from South Africa. Shami was there with the Indian team for the Test and ODI series.

"Shami abused me and started beating me even after returning from South Africa. He has been doing this for quite some time now and now I have had enough."

In one of her Facebook posts she simply shared the screenshots of the mobile chats and captioned them as 'Shami's Enjoyment'.

Jahan further alleged that instead of realising his mistake the cricketer used to threaten her for keeping her mouth shut.

"Instead of accepting his own mistakes, he used to vent his anger on me and even threaten me, asking to keep mum for my own goodwill," Jahan alleged.

When enquired why she was yet to file an official complaint, Jahan said she had intimated the local police station back in January, when Shami's family had increased the torture levels.

"I came back to Kolkata from Uttar Pradesh on January 8. At that point of time, I did not want to take legal actions but had informed the Jadavpur Police station verbally."

All these allegations about my personal life are lies. This is a very big conspiracy against me. It's an attempt to defame me and hurt my game)," Shami wrote on his Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Later, Shami - who is in Dharamsala for the Deodhar Trophy- took to his Twitter handle to junk all the accusations made by his wife and even called it as a controversy to malign his name.

Earlier on March 1, Jahan shared the images of Holi celebration with Shami and their daughter on her timeline and by looking at those images one could hardly say that the couple had differences of any kind.
