Sachin Tendulkar to Yuvraj Singh: Cricketers hail MS Dhoni on his 300th ODI

New Delhi, Aug 31: Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar-led the cricketing fraternity to congratulate former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on his landmark 300th ODI appearance.

The legendary cricketer, who owns the record of playing most ODI games (463), welcomed his former teammate in the elite 300 club. Dhoni will be the sixth Indian cricketer to play his 300th ODI and Tendulkar called it a special achievement.

The former India captain hoped Dhoni has a good outing in the milestone game.

Sachin isn't the only one to congratulate Dhoni, several former India cricketers and his current teammates are sending their regards to the iconic cricketer.

Dhoni is the only captain to have lifted all three ICC trophies i.e. 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ICC World Cup and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.

Dhoni's fans will also be hoping the wicket-keeper reaches another record in his milestone match as he's just one short of his 100th stumping and become the first man to do so.

Dhoni was also hailed as the greatest match-finisher, the game has ever seen.
