The bowler had to bear the brunt of an angry Dhoni as the 36-year-old smashed a massive six on the very next ball. The entire episode showed the not so common side of Dhoni, who is rarely seen letting his emotions on the field.

Dhoni and Pandey together stitched an unbeaten partnership of 98 runs for the fifth wicket that propelled India to 188/4 in 20 overs.

Pandey smashed an unbeaten 79 in 48 balls while Dhoni remained not out on 52 off 28 deliveries. But the target set by India was easily chased down by South Africa with 8 balls to spare and level the series.
