New Delhi, July 31: Team India's limited overs' skipper MS Dhoni is enjoying every bit of his break from cricket. He is often seen spending time with family and friends, meeting fans and travelling.
The India skipper was recently seen playing football, his favourite game after cricket.
The Indian cricketing star pulled a large crowd in the Silli AstroTurf Stadium and played a full 90-minute match with professional football players amid heavy rainfall.
Dhoni played for the Silli Sports Academy, a sports facility promoted by his politician friend, Sudesh Mahato. Dhoni's team defeated Ranchi XI, a football club, by 6-2 goals.
Captain Cool entertained the crowd with his skills and even scored a stupendous goal. He also assisted in at least two other goals with the help of his skillfull dribbling and passing skills. He played left forward and remained the most active performer of his team.
The crowd cheered and sreamed all through the match as he exhibited exemplary soccer prowess. All through the 90-minute play, the stadium reverberated with the chants of "Mahi...Mahi" as the local hero displayed his moves on the ground.
"I played a full soccer match after a long time and enjoyed it thoroughly," Dhoni said.
