Dhaka, Feb 23: There is good news for MS Dhoni fans, Team India's limited-overs skipper is reportedly recovering well from the muscle spasm in the back. (MS Dhoni suffers muscle spasm, Parthiv Patel to join team)
MS Dhoni suffered a muscle spasm in the back during training ahead of the Asia Cup Twenty20 tournament at Dhaka on Monday.

"He (Dhoni) has been recovering well but we will assess his fitness ahead of the match tomorrow," said Team India manager Nishant Arora was quoted by India Today.
Team India would have to make major adjustments if Dhoni misses the opening game against hosts Bangladesh. Parthiv Patel has already been called as the wicket-keeper batsman's replacement. Although, Patel is an opener and Dhoni is a matchfinisher.
"MS is a pillar for us in the middle-order. If Parthiv comes in, we will have to make plans for the batting order," Dhoni's deputy Kohli was quoted as saying.
However, Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza opined India has a strong batting line-up hence team won't miss him badly.
"Dhoni has been a tremendous player but with the batting order that they have they will not miss him so much."
