MS Dhoni - The Untold Story trailer released: Fans go berserk on Twitter

New Delhi, Aug 11: The wait is finally over, the highly anticipated trailer of biopic over Team India's ODI skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been released on Thursday (Aug 11).

The trailer of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was released by the filmmakers which became viral on social media.

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is playing MS Dhoni's character on the silver screen while Kiara Advani is playing the star cricketer's wife Sakshi Dhoni in the biopic.

The trailer shows the most successful Indian cricket captain's journey and his rise in country's most popular game.

Meanwhile, Dhoni and actor Sushant Singh launched the trailer of film 'MS Dhoni - The Untold Story' in Mumbai a addressed press conference on Thursday, in Mumbai.

Releasing the trailer on his Twitter account Dhoni tweeted, "As I walked the path, the journey became my life. Here's a glimpse of it."

On screen Dhoni, Sushant Singh, also shared the video on his Twitter handle and said, "You've watched him create history. Watch the #MSDhoniTrailer now to know about his journey."

The film also stars Bhumika Chawla as Dhoni's sister and Anupam Kher as Dhoni's father Pan Singh. The movie is directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Fox Star Studios and Inspired Entertainment. MS Dhoni: The Untold Story releases on September 30.

The trailer had more than 92,000 views on YouTube within a three hours of its release.
