The 19-year-old Mustafizur took 2/57 (dismissed Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina) in 10 overs at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium to finish with 13 wickets in the 3-match series. This is the most scalps by a bowler for a 3-match bilateral series. (Dhoni pushes Mustafizur)

However, Australia's Ryan Harris too had taken 13 wickets in 3 matches against Pakistan in 2010. But it came in a 5-match series.

This has been an outstanding series for Mustafizur. He made his ODI debut in the opening game with a 5-wicket haul. He added 6 more in the next game as Bangladesh clinched a historic series win.

Though he was not able to replicate the same performances (5-wicket hauls) of the previous two clashes, he ended up with a couple of wickets to own another record.

After the end of the 2nd ODI, he had set a new world record for most wickets (11) for a bowler after opening two games at the start of the career.

In the 3rd ODI on Wednesday, after being sent into bat, India posted 317/6 in 50 overs. Shikhar Dhawan top-scored with 75 while captain MS Dhoni made 69.
