Mustafizur Rahman, who missed out on Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Friday (April 5) continues to be the leading wicket-taker in the IPL 2024. He has seven wickets from three matches.
Gujarat Titans' (GT) pacer Mohit Sharma also has seven wickets, but he has played a match more than Mustafizur Rahman. The Bangladesh pacer also has a better average (15.14) and strike rate (15.14) than the veteran India fast bowler. Rahman is currently in Bangladesh to complete formalities for his US visa ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024.

Punjab Kings' (PBKS) South African pacer Kagiso Rabada is second in the list of top ten overseas bowlers with most wickets in IPL 2024. He has picked six wickets in four games at an average of 23.5.
Andre Russell of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) features on the third spot in the list of overseas bowlers who have picked most wickets in IPL 2024. Russell has picked five wickets in four matches.
Trent Boult has jumped to the fourth spot in the list after wreaking havoc against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. The Rajasthan Royals (RR) left-arm pacer dismissed Rohit Sharma, Naman Dhir and Dewald Brevis for golden ducks to hand his team a six-wicket win.
Boult's teammate Nandre Burger is also on the list at fifth spot after picking five wickets in three matches. This is the first IPL season for the South African left-arm pacer. Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell, Matheesha Pathirana, Sam Curran and Naveen-ul-Haq complete the top ten list of non-Indian bowlers with most wickets in IPL 2024.
KKR's Mitchell Starc, the costliest (Rs 24.75 crore) in the history of the IPL, has picked just two wickets from three matches so far. Afghanistan stars of Gujarat Titans - Azmatullah Omarzai and Rashid Khan - have also picked four wickets each. Delhi Capitals' (DC) Anrich Nortje also has four wickets from three matches.
