Rohit Sharma
The stand-in skipper had another poor outing with the bat as he was dismissed for duck in the opening game as well. After a disappointing tour of South Africa, Rohit would be eager to come back strongly against Bangladesh and lead his team from the front.
Rohit slammed just one ton in the ODI series after remaining silent in the Test series and couldn't make it big in the T20Is as well.
As the added responsiblity of captaincy brings out the best in him, team would be hoping Rohit plays a big knock against Bangladesh to bring them back on the winning course.

Shikhar Dhawan
The left-handed batsman, who recieved a 1400 percent hike in his annual BCCI contract after being included in the A+ category, continued his good run with an entertaining 90 off 49 balls.
He was the only Indian batsman who played freely against Sri Lanka in the previous T20I. However, he was unlucky to miss out on a well deserved century.
Dhawan must be hoping to continue his purple patch and helps the team win the second game and forge big partnership with his opening partner. He will have to shoulder the responsibility of carrying the innings forward if Rohit departs cheaply.

Suresh Raina
The veteran batsman, who is probably India's most experienced T20 specialist, was dismissed cheaply in the previous game. Raina could only score 1 before he was bowled on a full toss delivery.
The left-handed batsman must be eager to score runs against Bangladesh after failing in the first T20I.
Raina played some brilliant cameos in all three games against South Africa and team would be hoping for a similar show.
The southpaw's quality of hammering the bowlers from the word go and never let them settle down would be key for India against Bangladesh. Raina would once again come in to bat at No.3.

Manish Pandey
The Karnataka batsman continued his good form with the bat and scored 35-ball 37 against Sri Lanka in the first T20I and it was his 95-run partnership with Dhawan for the third wicket that took India to a respectable total.
However, a strike rate of 105.71 isn't that effective in T20Is and Pandey would be hoping to improve it. Pandey knows it very well that a talented batsman in KL Rahul is sitting on the benches and that his position will be constantly under scrutiny.
Rahul, on the other hand, will have to wait furthermore for an opportunity to make it to the side as the opening slot is fixed and Pandey is also improving his consistency at No. 4.

Dinesh Karthik
The Tamil Nadu cricketer will once again don the wicketkeeper's gloves against Bangladesh apart from strengthening the middle order.
The newly appointed Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain would hope to make most of the opportunity in the Nidahas Trophy for he brings some experience to the second-string Indian side.
His inputs to skipper Rohit Sharma on the field will be very crucial as he will be present behind the stumps.
Karthik had a mini cameo and scored 13 off 6 in the last T20 against Sri Lanka and helped the team post 174 on the board in the stipulated 20 overs.

Rishabh Pant
The left-handed batsman was showed the confidence by the team management as well as the skipper as he was promoted in the batting order, ahead of Karthik, considering the fact that he could strike the ball well.
Pant would once again make it to the side against Bangladesh, but he would be hoping to score at an even better strike rate. He has played some memorable knocks in the IPL and that's why people have been asking for his inclusion into the side.

Vijay Shankar
The Tamil Nadu all-rounder made his debut for India in the previous game. However, he didn't get a chance to bat but made most of what he got with the ball. From his two overs, the medium-pacer conceded 15 runs.
Shankar received India call-up for the upcoming Nidahas T20I Trophy. The cricketer, who is still taking nascent steps in international cricket, has been named as a replacement to fast-bowling all-rounder Hardik Pandya and he is eager to make it count on the opportunity at hand.

Washington Sundar
The Tamil Nadu bowler was the pick of the bowlers for India and one of the few positives from the previous game.
Sundar struck twice at an acceptable economy rate of seven runs per over. He got the visitors their first breakthrough in his very first over as he was brought into the attack in the second over and removed Kusal Mendis.
Hence, skipper Rohit Sharma might just stick with him in the second game as well. Else, Axar Patel might get a chance in the playing XI in his place.

Yuzvendra Chahal
The wrist spinner once again impressed with his bowling as he picked up two wickets in the first T20I. Chahal (2/37) was slightly expensive than his spin partner Sundar against Sri Lanka and would be hoping to bowl miserly against Bangladesh.
The wrist-spinner from Haryana emerged as a match winner for India in the ODI series against South Africa but proved very expensive in the T20Is.
However, he made some recovery against Sri Lanka and team must be hoping he just gets better with every T20I game, now that they are back to sub-continental pitches.

Shardul Thakur
Thakur was the most expensive bowler for India in the powerplays as he leaked as many as 27 runs in his first over against Sri Lanka.
Kusal Perera took on the offensive against the young pacer from the word go and it was his exploit in the first six over that took the game away from the visitors' hand.
Thakur, however, bounced back well to concede only three in his next attempt. The Mumbai pacer conceded 42 from 3.3 overs. He would look to start the proceedings well this time and prove his mettle.

Jaydev Unadkat
The left-arm pacer leaked 35 runs from his 3 overs and it was the bashing in his penultimate over that ensured Sri Lanka cruise home safely with 9 balls to spare. Unadkat bagged a wicket in the innings but he would certainly have to raise his bar and perform well.
In the absence of the rested Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the likes of Shardul Thakur and Jaydev Unadkat need to up their game in the unforgiving death overs.
Considering that fact that Bangladesh could be a volatile side in the T20 format, both the pacers would have to bowl well if India wish to win the second game and bounce back.
