PAK vs NZ 2nd T20I Highlights: Babar Azam ton, Haris Rauf four-for helps Pakistan win by 38 runs

Lahore, Apr 15: Having registered a confident win in the opening T20I, Pakistan cricket team will look to extend the winning momentum against New Zealand in the second match on Saturday (April 15) here at Gaddafi Stadium.

The Babar Azam-led side produced a clinical show with the bat in the first of five-match series on Friday (April 14) and won the match by 88 runs against the tourists who looked rusty.

After winning the toss in the second T20I, the Pakistan skipper invited New Zealand captain Tom Latham and his band to bat first on Saturday on April 15.

The hosts scored 182 in 19.5 overs in the first T20I even as captain Babar (8) and Mohammed Rizwan (9) were dismissed in quick succession in the first innings. But Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub played brilliant cameos with the bat and guided their team to a big total.

Matt Henry became the fourth New Zealand bowler to pick up a hat-trick in the match and impressed everyone with his performance. However, the BlackCaps - who looked a little rusty in the first game - failed badly in the big run chase.

Latham and his teammates failed to offer any resistance with the bat and were bundled out for a paltry 94 in the run chase. New Zealand were all out in 15 overs in the big run chase.

Haris Rauf starred with the ball for Pakistan as he grabbed a four-for in 3.3 overs. The right-arm pacer floored the visitors with his batting effort and guided his team to a big win.
