Royal Challengers Bangalore batter Virat Kohli has joined the team training at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday (March 26).
The RCB stalwart has resumed practice at their home ground as they prepare for the IPL 2023, which is set to start on March 31. RCB are playing their first match against Mumbai Indians on April 2.

Virat Kohli joined the squad on Saturday and took part in the first-team training at the stadium, amid the rousing cheers of the supporters. The RCB Unbox is an event organised by the franchise which will induct Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers to their hall of fame, as the fans get to see their beloved stars ahead of the new season.
Kohli was spotted at the ground taking guard and entering the field with his pad on, in the famous Red and Gold colour of the franchise. As Kohli entered the field, the fans went berserk and the 'Kohli, Kohli' chants reverberated the whole stadium.
It will be a memorable evening for the RCB fans at the Chinnaswamy as the musical event will be taking place soon. According to reports, 30,000 supporters have arrived at the stadium and will be cheering their team at the curtain raiser. There will be performances from many eminent personalities of Bollywood and local music.
Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has also joined the team and was part of the training on Sunday. Both Kohli and Maxwell batted for some time in the nets amid the cacophony of the supporters across the ground.
The fans are getting a taste of their stars for the first time since 2019, as IPL has gone across the country yet again after the three-year fiasco due to COVID-19 pandemic. RCB will be led by South African veteran Faf du Plessis, who joined the franchise last year.
Kohli will be aiming to get his hands on the IPL trophy for the first time this year. The star-studded RCB sides over the years have promised a lot, but have failed to get the silverware so far in the past 15 editions of the coveted tournament.
