RCB vs KKR IPL 2024 Highlights: Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 7 wickets at the iconic M Chinnaswamy Stadium in match number 10 of IPL 2024 on Friday (March 29).
With this win, KKR became the first team to win a game in this edition of IPL to register a win away from home and RCB became the first side to lose a match at home. The men in purple and gold thus recorded their sixth win at this venue, they are unbeaten against RCB here since 2016.

KKR's Game All Along! Contrary to popular belief, the wicket kept getting better for batting and Sunil Narine should get the credit for setting it up perfectly for the chasing side. His knock made the difference in the run chase and later Venkatesh Iyer smashed a quick-fire fifty as KKR overhauled the target inside 16.5 overs.

KKR WIN!!! Another emphatic victory for the men in gold and purple. Captain Shreyas Iyer hits the winning maximum as KKR reach 186/3 in 16.5 overs. This is the first game after nine, when a home team lost a game in IPL 2024. RCB are yet to beat KKR in their backyard since 2016.
At the end of 16 overs, Kolkata Knight Riders reach 176/3. They need 7 more runs to win tonight and continue their dominance over Royal Challengers in the latter's backyard. A very clinical performance from the visiting side.
Yash Dayal bowling to Rinku Singh

SIX!!!! Captain Shreyas Iyer hits Siraj for a maximum and the crowd at M Chinnaswamy goes in utter silence. KKR - 167/2 in 15 overs.
Venky Iyer completes his half-century off just 29 balls. A fine knock from the tall left-handed batter from Madhya Pradesh.
150 comes up for KKR at the end of 14th over. Vyshak Vijay Kumar finishes with an impressive figure of 1/23 from his quota of 4 overs. He was the best bowler from the home side and most economical of the lot.
KKR - 150/2 in 14 overs, need 33 more off 36 balls.
The Iyer duo have put up a fifty-run partnership off just 28 balls for the third wicket and KKR are cruising at the moment in the run chase of 183.
KKR - 144/2 in 13 overs, they need 39 off 42 balls.
Dropped & 4! Yash Dayal puts Shreyas Iyer down for 5 and adding an insult to the injury, the ball touches the boundary padding. Vyshak could have gotten his second wicket of the evening that too of the KKR skipper.
KKR - 112/2 in 10 overs, they need 71 more off 60 balls.
SIXXXXX! Mayank Dagar has been clobbered over deep mid-wicket by Venkatesh Iyer. The ball sails miles into the stands. It was a 106-metre-long monstrous hit from the southpaw. With that, KKR also go past the 100-run mark in the 9th over.
KKR - 104/2 in 9 overs, target 183
Wicket! Vyshak Vijay Kumar provides another breakthrough for RCB as he gets the wicket of set Philip Salt for 30. Green takes the catch at deep mid-wicket and KKR lose their second wicket for 92 in 7.5 overs. The crowd at Chinnaswamy goes berserk.
Wicket! Mayank Dagar provides the much-needed breakthrough for Royal Challengers and he clean bowls Sunil Narine for 47. Narine does his job before getting dismissed.
KKR - 86/1 in 6.3 overs, target - 183
SIX, SIX!!! Sunil Narine is playing another superb knock for KKR and he's smashed Yash Dayal for two maximums.
SIX!! Siraj bowls a slow bouncer at 118 kmph and Narine flicks him over mid-wicket for a maximum. Poor execution from the bowler.

SIX!! Sunil Narine hits Joseph over long-off for a biggie and this is the first time after 11 innings when the left-handed batter touched double digits in the IPL.
Alzarri Joseph has been introduced by RCB captain Faf du Plessis in the third over to get the wicket of Sunil Narine. Narine has struggled against short-pitched deliveries. Will it pay off?
At the end of the second over, Kolkata Knight Riders reach 32/0. They need 151 runs off 108 balls.
Four! Sunil Narine hits the length delivery from Yash Dayal and the ball races towards the long-off boundary.
SIX!! Philip Salt is not in the mood to slow down tonight. He ends Siraj's over with another maximum.
KKR - 18/0 after 1st over, target - 183.
SIX, Four! Phil Salt starts in a typical fashion as he hits Siraj for a maximum and follows it up with a boundary on the next ball. The English batter is clearing his intentions early.
2nd innings! KKR openers Sunil Narine and Phil Salt are in the middle to begin the run chase of 183. Siraj will open bowling for RCB.
Despite losing his opening partner early, Kohli continued his onslaught against KKR bowlers. The partnership with Cameron Green revived RCB and later finishing touches from Kohli and Dinesh Karthik helped RCB post a decent total on the board. KKR - who also have a good batting attack - will now have to chase down 183 to win this game. They have the firepower but this pitch is going to test them tonight. Captain Shreyas Iyer will look to add some runs against his name as he was dismissed cheaply in the previous game, against SRH, at home.
Mitchell Starc finishes with figures of 4-0-47-0 and the most expensive cricketer in the history of IPL remains wicketless so far.
End of the innings! Dinesh Karthik gets run out on the final ball of the innings to steal a single. His knock comes to an end for 20 off 8. Virat Kohli - the batting talisman - continued his good form for RCB at home and carried his bat through. Kohli scored an unbeaten 83 off 59 balls and propelled his team to 182/6 in the allotted 20 overs. Kohli once again reclaims the Orange Cap from Klaasen. This should be enough for RCB as the pitch seems to be slowing down.
SIX!!! Mitchell Starc bowls on the leg stumps, Dinesh Karthik obliges and flicks the ball over deep square-leg for a maximum.
SIX!!! Virat Kohli pulls the slower one from Mitchell Starc and the ball lands way back into the stands.
SIX!!! Dinesh - the finisher - Karthik hits Russell for another biggie and the ball sails over the fielder present at long-on. 13 came off it as RCB reach 166/5 in 19 overs.
At the centre of this clash are two of the biggest crowd-pullers in the competition: RCB's dynamic batter, Virat Kohli, and KKR's explosive all-rounder, Andre Russell. Kohli's batting skills make him a formidable presence, while Russell's ability to influence games single-handedly with his bludgeoning, and knack for taking wickets puts KKR in a strong position.
The return to form of Sunil Narine adds another layer of intrigue to the contest. After a brief downturn, Narine demonstrated his worth in the last game with a frugal spell, becoming a crucial part of KKR's bowling attack. His capability to restrain the opposition's scoring rate could be crucial in handling RCB's star-studded batting lineup.
With both teams coming off recent victories, the scene is set for an exhilarating showdown. RCB, boosted by their win against Punjab Kings, will seek to capitalize on their momentum, while KKR, fresh from triumph over Sunrisers Hyderabad, will strive to extend their winning streak.
The history between these sides is fraught with drama and memorable instances, from on-field confrontations to stunning comebacks. As they revive their longstanding rivalry, spectators can anticipate nothing less than a spectacle at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
