Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were captured having a pleasant exchange during the ongoing match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Friday (March 29).
Kohli and Gambhir have had their share of controversies and ugly spats, but the two Indian icons have kept things amicable and civil so far in the latest meet.

The RCB batter was involved in a huge altercation with then LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir, who joined KKR ahead of this season. Gambhir earlier said he wants to beat RCB even in his dreams, which heightened the anticipation among fans if the duo will collide again on the field.
But during the second strategic timeout of the RCB innings, Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli were seen hugging each other. The pair shook their hands and then were seen talking with each other.
They had a pleasant exchange, and Kohli and Gambhir were even seen smiling, which has been a rare sight.
Fans were overwhelmed with the sight and shared their love for the duo on social media. Most of the fans were happy to see the pair burying the hatchet while a few were expecting a renewed feud.
"That hug looks well scripted. Seems Gautam just walked straight and kohli was ready for it. Also Gambhir had that constipated smile. He has started looking like piyush chawla," one fan wrote on social media. Another one thought this was the thing which fulfilled the wishlist of 2024.
This is a fantastic sight for any Indian cricket fan. Both Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir are icons and their spat didn't transpire well. It is an excellent and mature thing for both of them to the way they behaved. Although their duel is only on the field, sometimes it is important to control the emotion, so it was a great thing to see. But as we have seen both Kohli and Gambhir over the years, let's wait till the end of this match.
