Mumbai, Nov 6: Roger Binny is likely to quit from his position as a national selector after BCCI's upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is scheduled to happen on Nov 9.
As per a report published in the DNA, Binny's current role is in violation of the BCCI's 29-point reform agenda to put an end to conflict of interest of administrators, players, affiliated units, selectors and others employed by the Indian board.

Another issue facing the Binny family is that of his son Stuart's wife, Mayanti Langer, who is contracted by the official broadcast partner of the BCCI, added the report.
"Roger has been given time to decide about his future post AGM. All selectors and officials of the BCCI now understand that after the Supreme Court verdict on N Srinivasan's conflict of interest case, every individual attached with the Board will have to decide whether they want a position in any state association or an office of profit," a source was quoted by DNA as saying.
Earlier this year, when the BCCI announced the much awaited Indian squad for ICC World Cup 2015, several eyebrows were raised at the inclusion of all-rounder Stuart Binny. Several felt the all-rounder's inclusion in the 15-member-squad was only because his father Roger Binny was part of the BCCI selection panel.
