Rohit Sharma, the stalwart of Indian cricket, has been a mainstay at the Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
Debuting in 2008 with the Deccan Chargers, Rohit Sharma quickly showcased his potential, amassing over 350 runs in each of his first two seasons. His transition to the MI in 2011 marked the beginning of a golden era, both for him and the franchise.
Since then, he has been their star captain, leading them to five IPL titles until 2024, when the captaincy baton was passed to Hardik Pandya. Sharma's highest IPL score, an unbeaten 109, came against the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2012, highlighting his ability to anchor innings and accelerate when needed. Beyond his batting, he has occasionally contributed with the ball, notably achieving a hat-trick in 2009.
Rohit Sharma made a disappointing start to IPL 2025 and struggled in the first few matches. But in the last two encounters, the MI batter has looked in much better touch, scoring consecutive half centuries.

Rohit started with a duck against Chennai Super Kings in the first match. He also failed to score big against Gujarat Titans and KKR, with 8 and 13 respectively. In the next matches, Rohit's run scoring has only been in an ascending manner. He scored his first fifty of the season against CSK and then backed that up with another 70-run knock against SRH. Rohit ended up scoring 12 runs in the latest IPL 2025 match against Lucknow Super Giants.
