RR vs CSK Prediction: Rajasthan Royals will be up against Chennai Super Kings in an important IPL 2025 clash on Sunday (March 30).
The Royals are in need of a turn around after losing two in two so far this season. On the other hand, CSK are also coming to this on the back of a dismal defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Rajasthan Royals: Sanju Samson (c), Shubham Dubey, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Kunal Rathore, Shimron Hetmyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, Nitish Rana, Yudhvir Singh, Jofra Archer, Maheesh Theekshana, Wanindu Hasaranga, Akash Madhwal, Kumar Kartikeya Singh, Tushar Deshpande, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Kwena Maphaka, Ashok Sharma, Sandeep Sharma
Chennai Super Kings: Ruturaj Gaikwad (c), MS Dhoni (wk), Devon Conway, Rahul Tripathi, Shaik Rasheed, Vansh Bedi (wk), C Andre Siddharth, Rachin Ravindra, Ravichandran Ashwin, Vijay Shankar, Sam Curran, Anshul Kamboj, Deepak Hooda, Jamie Overton, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Ramakrishna Ghosh, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, Khaleel Ahmed, Noor Ahmad, Mukesh Choudhary, Gurjapneet Singh, Nathan Ellis, Shreyas Gopal, Matheesha Pathirana.
Rajasthan Royals: Sanju Samson is playing only as a batter due to a finger injury; Riyan Parag is leading the side. The bowling unit has been expensive in the last two games. Parag will lead the team likely for the final time at his home turf in Guwahati.
Chennai Super Kings: Ruturaj Gaikwad is the new captain. There have been player swaps from last season, including Ashwin now playing for CSK and Deshpande & Theekshana with RR. After a poor loss against RCB, the Super Kings will be desperate to get back to winning ways in this match.
Both teams are coming off defeats. RR’s bowling looks shaky, while CSK boasts experience and depth in their lineup. It has been an underwhelming start for the Royals who lost their first two matches and have looked significantly weaker compared to other teams. Sanju Samson's unavailability on the field may have played a part, but the Royals outfit have lacked cohesion and quality on the pitch so far. Yashasvi Jaiswal haven't had the best of starts and will be hoping to score big against CSK.
On the other hand, the Super Kings may have started the season well, but the defeat against RCB was a concern because of their lack of fight in it. With MS Dhoni and others at the helm, the five time champions will be looking for a prompt comeback. CSK go into the match with a slight edge, but RR playing at home may make it a close contest.
